Welcome to LEADEMY. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LEADEMY platform, including all courses, content, features, and services offered. Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using LEADEMY, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, students, instructors, and organizations that access or use the platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
By creating an account, purchasing a course, or enrolling in any program on LEADEMY, you explicitly agree to these Terms.
User Accounts
Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years of age (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
Account Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- LEADEMY is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account use.
- Each user may maintain only one account unless otherwise authorized by LEADEMY.
Course Content & Licenses
For Students (License to Learn)
When you enroll in a course, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This license is subject to the following restrictions:
- You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly display course content.
- You may not download or copy course materials unless explicitly permitted.
- Your access may be revoked if you violate these Terms.
For Instructors (Content Ownership)
Instructors retain full ownership of the course content they create and publish on LEADEMY. By publishing content, instructors grant LEADEMY a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Host, store, and distribute course content on the platform.
- Display course materials to enrolled students and platform visitors.
- Promote courses through marketing and advertising efforts.
Instructors represent and warrant that their content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
Payments & Commissions
All financial transactions conducted on LEADEMY are subject to the following terms:
Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through third-party payment gateways. LEADEMY does not store full payment card details.
Commission Structure
Instructors earn revenue based on the commission structure defined in their agreement with LEADEMY. Rates are subject to change with notice.
Refunds
All refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Instructors agree that commissions may be adjusted to accommodate approved refunds.
Taxes
Users are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees associated with their purchases or earnings on the platform.
Subscriptions & Membership
LEADEMY may offer subscription-based membership plans with recurring billing:
Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing but does not provide a refund for the current period.
Benefits Continuation
After cancellation, you retain access to subscription benefits until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused time.
LEADEMY reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
Intellectual Property
The LEADEMY platform, including its design, logo, brand name, and underlying technology, is owned and operated by LEADEMY and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Platform Ownership
The LEADEMY name, logo, interface design, and platform code are the exclusive property of LEADEMY.
User Content
Users retain rights to content they submit. By submitting content, users grant LEADEMY a license to use it for platform operations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- LEADEMY provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- LEADEMY does not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- In no event shall LEADEMY be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to LEADEMY in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Termination
LEADEMY reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct:
By LEADEMY
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Accounts terminated for violations are not eligible for refunds.
By You
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your access to courses and purchased content will be permanently lost.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately, and any content you have submitted may be removed.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LEADEMY operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction, as determined by LEADEMY.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LEADEMY regarding your use of the platform and supersede any prior agreements.
